Help me!  Please?  Pretty Please?  Okay, I’ll stop whining and cut to the chase (Zoomvroom, blog, take 37!). . .  So, however hard I look, I can’t seem to find a Chilton’s manual for my Baby!  This is a challenge to you!  If you can find a link or Chilton’s Repair Guide for a 1982 Chevrolet S10 Tahoe with the 4.3 liter V6.  I’ve looked everywhere: eBay, the Chilton’s Repair Manual for the 1982 Chevrolet S10 Tahoe with the 4.3 liter V6 and four-speed automatic is nowhere to be found.  As I said, I have thrown the gauntlet.  You can chicken out, or find a link and/or a manual for me. . .

  1. Most auto repair manuals are not printed for the specific model, trim line, engine, and transmission. Rather they are usually made for a model and related models of a certain generation. Therefore, for example you probably wouldn’t need to find a manual for specificaly a 1982 Chevy S10 Tahoe with a 4.3l V-6 and a 4-speed manual. You would most likely find a manual for all Chevy S10s/GMC Sonomas of your car’s generation. Also I found a website called CHILTONSONDEMAND, here is a link:
I found a couple of manuals for your type of vehicle. Good luck!

  2. Started to do a Google and GYB combined search but couldn’t email results to myself to forward to you. Sounds like Hudsonjet has answered your plea.

Assuming you find a manual…where will you find 30 year old parts. Maybe you should look for a second 1982 Chevy S10 Tahoe to canabilize…or maybe save your pennies for a vehicle that runs. I know,,,it’s not the same…but I’ve learned to take the simple and easy way in life. Who knows how much money you’ll pour into this baby without a guarantee it will pay off in the end.

I know…I’m an old fuddy duddy.

    Hugs and love
